[rpd] REQUEST TO RECALL THE AFRINIC PDWG CO-CHAIRS

Hello Wijdane,
I disagree with you that there are no good people in our community. We
need not run ourselves down, just to appease a few. Where did you get
this idea of 100% non-involvement of anyone at this point in time? Is
that a well-meaning African?
If we allow this, someone will arise in the future and argue that we do
not have honest, or well-meaning people to run AFRINIC, ultimately
asking us to lend-a-board from RIR-X.
Stop running down the people with good intentions in the community. Stop
painting the community with a tar brush. Aren't the co-chairs
volunteers? What is the big deal? If indeed there is a wrong call, so be
it, we will learn from it in the future and become stronger.
If we intentionally ill-treat volunteers, posterity is there to remind
us, anyway. What is the fuss?
Sunday.
