[rpd] AIS 20 & Co-chair election process

Monsieur Jordi, chaque pays ne se vaut pas quand bien même nous avons des
similarités liées à l'être humain. Les Africains ne sont pas contre le
changement mais la manière avec laquelle cela doit s'opérer. Le contexte
diffère et les solutions copier-coller aveuglément ne sont pas toujours une
bonne approche car il ya des Contextes liés à la culture, la mentalité, le
style de Leadership, etc.
La Chine a tiré exemple des USA mais ne s'est pas développée de la même
manière. Le pessimisme de certains ne doit pas être une forme de
généralisation mais plutôt susciter réflexions sur les meilleures manières
devant nous mener à dégager les solutions selon le contexte et la
compréhension des choses. LACNIC met peut-être cette forme d'élections en
pratique mais nous devrions avant tout chercher à comprendre pourquoi et
comment ils y sont arrivés.
Par quel processus ils sont passés par et les défis qu'ils ont résolu. Déjà
en Afrique, s'il faut juste parler de la connexion internet, cette dernière
est disparate et plus ancrée dans les grandes zones urbaines alors que la
majorité des habitants vit dans le monde rural.
Je réitère donc ma position à la non prise en compte du sommet en ligne et
l'extension du mandat des co-chairs en place jusqu'à une possibilité de
rencontre physique manifeste.
