Owen,
What open question? Good to review the video or minutes of the meeting before you make such claims. Especially as you admit not being present at the meeting.
Meeting minutes are available at https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/rpd/2016/006271.html
The softlanding-bis co-authors have also made the following statements on the lists since the Mauritius meeting.
https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/rpd/2016/006301.html
https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/rpd/2017/006378.html
The co-authors have always acted in good faith and the records show this no matter how frequently this is misrepresented by a loud minority.
- they made the initial offer to work with the co-authors of the conflicting proposal in Mauritius.
- they subsequently participated fully in Co-chairs post Mauritius initiative to seeking common ground
- they have not published an update of the softlanding-bis proposal yet to keep things simple and clear
Only option we see in the circumstances is to update the proposal with areas of consensus identified by Co-chairs and submit for discussion.
