yes - thanks for reporting. AFRINIC did pass on the information to the relevant people who would be concerned.

We are happy to continue to facilitate communications like this wherever we can help.

As has been pointed out though this was *not* an outage of the IX itself - only some of the related administrative services (web site or example). Traffic exchange was never interrupted.

As we’ve veered off AFRINIC policy discussion, I’ll here refer you to the MIXP mailing lists if you have further concerns or questions about their services, or the IX operations itself. I am confident you can get any further answers you may look for.
