After some thought on this I also needed to add that this issue is not personal we all know that  RIR accountability means more community empowerment including demand for transparency and power to recall board members should they not act in community interest.

The issue being discussed and the admission made in a minuted board meeting was of concern and community needed to know.   When an admission is turned into an allegation that is wrong.   And continues to fire my curiosity to question motives etc.

The concern is when some members are thinking of their persons not the community and in this time of iana transition we are risking entire RIR system in being personal or allowing room for doubt in the community.   That being said, it  does not mean we should brush things under the carpet. They were opportunities to clean this up however creative reporting seems to have brought us here.

I still think and believe board and community can clean this up in a way that we can strengthen the organization but that will take a paradigm shift that does not see community members demanding information as a nuisance but as concerned stake holders.

If one wants to be a community leader he should be willing to subject himself to scrutiny without recourse to courts as it's not a birth right to be on Afrinic board.

 Lets work for the community and not our personal egos.   Board really needs to bring closure to this in a way that does not dis respect the community at large.

You and I both know that you are wildly distorting what was actually said in order to create this fiction.  Furthermore, you are making allegations which, not only do you have any evidence for, but which are also patently untrue.  I also point out that multiple members of the community stood on the floor and disputed your allegations and stated very clearly that they were in no way influenced in how they voted.

This has now moved from beyond the realm of a joke, and squarely into the realm of defamation by legal definition.  It amounts to both libel and slander against myself, and also in fact against every member who voted for myself, either via the issuance of a proxy or via direct vote..  As such, I am now politely asking you to cease and desist with these baseless allegations that are founded on lies and deception, and that you cease this senseless vindictive campaign against me.

This will be my last direct word on this matter, and my lawyers have been instructed to deal with any further defamatory allegations by yourself or others in this regard.
