Hi Jordi,
Thanks for that. You seams correct on ARIN but it is not a requirement in
RIPE. I knew this cos I could verify the information you provided from
thier respective websites.
 That should be the case for all RIRs. AFRINIC seams to be different,
making rules as we go.  it's nothin but madness.
 We have an agreed guide book that is published.
 Let us stick to it.  I have not seen any sane community that changes the
goalpost when the goal is about to be scored.
There is a process to be followed if we need to make changes. Even in the
military there is a process to be followed.
