Dear Yakmut,

If the candidates in question did not have the competency to fill out an application form with one providing fake nominator info and others with no seconders, why should the community trust them to handle the sensitive duties of a Co-chair which include moderating the RPD list, proof reading, crossing Ts and dotting Is on policy documents, communicating with the board, et cetera?

Are you suggesting that we ignore the candidates who took the time to do their due diligence, fill out the applications with appropriate info, and submit them on time?

To Lucilla and the others seeking some form of leniency, in what universe has an examiner ever allowed a test taker to correct their answers after their test scripts have been graded and returned?

Honestly, it is this cavalier attitude from some members and the former Co-chairs that has the RPD in a tail-spin. This is the Resource Policy Discussion list not Twitter or Facebook. A tool whose output is essential to the administration of number resources in the region. Let us all treat it with the respect it deserves.

Regards,
Murungi Daniel
