Dear Paul,
Submitting fake nominator information is not a misunderstanding, it is a deliberate attempt at deception. As such the candidate should be disqualified.
Whereas am a proponent of ‘young blood’, passion and energy alone do not qualify the candidates you are nominating for the Co-chair position.
At this point in time, the RPD needs experienced candidates with proven leadership skills who are knowledgeable about the inner workings of Internet backbone technologies et cetera. Additionally, the candidates should be able to draw from their wealth of experience to guide and inform the community about the impact of proposed policies as they are discussed.
Regards,
Murungi Daniel

I have been approached by these two young fellow Africans. I feel that they are passionate and energetic and I have personally reached out to potential nominators to get their consent on nominating Wijdane Goubi and Anthony Ubah, since these two young individuals have shown an interest in running for the co-chair position and have asked for my help to acquaint them to Afrinic Resource members that will be willing to take care of the nomination part.
