Hi Fernando,

I didn’t say so.

I meant AK can send the documents to the PDWG AND when the NEW co-chairs are elected, they should re-send again to the board.

Jordi

Hi Jordi

I don't agree previous co-chairs may submit such document in any circumstances since they are not co-chairs anymore. Whatever they do at the present is invalid in that sense.
If, and only if they may be able to clarify they have submitted the document in the past by sharing the email messages and Board confirms its recipient fine. That was an action make in the past which is already finished and just being clarified now.

In the case it is not possible to confirm that than I agree with John's message that the new co-chairs can continue on that matter and also agree with you that it may not be necessary to achieve the consensus again, but the submit of any documents must be done only by a co-chair in the role, not backwards.

Regards
Fernando

Hi John,

I don’t think this is the way.

(by the way, I believe now is clear that it has not been “lost”, just hidden)

After looking at your email, I’ve been reading *again* the PDP on this and for me is clear that there is no need for a new version or new consensus. Ideally and hopefully, AK can send the documents, it will be the best even if they need to be reviewed or updated, otherwise, the new co-chairs will need to waste some time to redo the document from scratch, read all the emails, look at the meeting videos, etc.

The PDP doesn’t mention anything such as “if chairs are replaced” a previously declared consensus need to be re-achieved before sending a proposal for ratification. And I think that’s very reasonable, because this can happen (the replacement of co-chairs) for many different reasons and it should not impact the process.

Jordi

Hi Fernando,

Even if that proposal got lost between co-chairs and AfriNIC, it should not be a big deal. Once we have new co-chairs, the authors can just submit their last version. If we got consensus on the last version, surely we should get it again on the same version or with very little tweaking, otherwise we ourselves are not very consistent. :-)

John

There is no abuse or exaggeration.

There is a important matter that has been unable to be clarified so far that involves a proposal that has been discussed for months and supposedly sent to the Board for ratification which the AfriNic denies. This situation must be resolved one way of another, otherwise PDWG may be failing in one of its main propose which is discuss proposals and pass them. It becomes a waste of everybody's time.

All has been requested to AK is to share with this group the original emails/messages attached, nothing else. That is not secret information or something to be treated with care. If that can be done it helps progress and end this unanswered questions.

Fernando

Dear All,

Once again we are descending into the pit of name calling and abuses. I think we are putting undue pressure on this matter. What is the worse that can happen if AK refuse to respond to any of our demand? I am also amuse at the level that we are critical of very unimportant issues.

I also think we should allow AK to vent out, he is not doing that for anyone to help him out, it is his right.

Simply,

Daniel

Dear Abdulkarim,

Am no imaging expert but some of the icons in the screenshot you sent have different resolutions from the rest of the document. Not sure if this was caused by you printing then scanning the excerpt you shared.

That said, your cause would be best served if you forwarded the emails directly to the RPD list. Additionally, share the raw message headers. This will help the AFRINIC team ease the process of sifting through the logs on their end.

IMHO, sir, your outburst below does not aid your cause one bit. Kindly keep in mind that you are not talking children.

Dear Noah,

The last time I checked you were neither my employer nor my parent. Am sure if we work for the same employer you can't be my superior at work. I wonder why you would think I would take instructions from you.

Please show some respect and keep those rude instructions to AFRINIC.

Enjoy your day.

AK.

Hi Abdulkarim

I see you attached screenshots of email exchanges.

Forward the said email to this PDWG rpd list including the report.

Dear all.

I didn't want to do this earlier for personal reasons. However, It seems some people are just out to tarnish my name and reputation. I wish them the best of luck in doing that. at least they now have a serious job.

Some also forget that I have a day job and I wear so many other lovely hats and I sometimes deserve some sabbatical leave from their ranting.

Please find attached the email correspondence between myself and the Policy liaison officer leading to the preparation of the document and the email sent by the co-chairs to the board for ratification.

Please relax and enjoy reading the attachment.

I hope this clarifies all the issues.

@Jordi, if I was you I would hold my horses until we see evidences from one or the other side. Until then……

This is what I am also telling Jordi because it's pointless for him to spread conspiracy theories based on his private chats with Abdulkarim who has never shown this PDWG any evidence that they former co-chairs sent such email to the board or even copied this working group as its a practise. Afrinic feedback clearly states not even a log on their side can be traced of such communications and as such, that is Afrinic evidence.

Therefore, Abdulkarims reluctance to forward such email to the WG, shows that there is either no such email, or if there was, then it's very unprofessional of him that not even his excuses about being on sabbatical leave hold water rather than shows another complete disregard to this WG and a clear vote of no confidence. in the man.

it's been a couple of weeks, lets see the evidence......PERIOD.
