[rpd] Eligibility Criteria for PDWG chairs

Hello community,

One of the optimum and central purpose of this community is to discuss
various issues in relation with AFRINIC Community and to make objective
decisions, the options, objections, disagreements and thoughts of every
member of the community has to be not just listened to but also put into
consideration while making decisions on the issue at hand. The AFRINIC
Organization already have a criteria in place that qualifies an individual
to become eligible to run or apply for the position of a PDWG Co-chair in
situations like this. Why don’t we follow this criteria that is already in
place?

Let me guess, since the electoral timeline and date has been set, it seems
like no matter what the differences, options and thoughts of the community
members are on the criteria, the election must go on without putting the
considerations of the community into account. These criteria I must say not
only limits people from being eligible to contest but also is against the
core values and principle of the organization and the internet community:
Openness, Inclusiveness and Fairness.

Best,
Elvis.
