[rpd] RPKI ROAs for Unallocated and Unassigned AFRINIC Address Space AFPUB-2019-GEN-006-DRAFT02

Dear All, dear community

I am strongly in opposition to this RPKI ROA proposal, reasons being that
it is going to create a centralization on the control of the internet
which can result in an abuse of power. Secondly, issuing an AS0 for AFRINIC
address space will result in AFRINIC attaining excessive power than they
should have and moreover, voluntary cooperation is a means that can be
utilized in the prevention of hijack. Additionally, if the AFRINIC controls
the RPKI and in the event of a mistake in the routing database, it would
lead to a shutdown of the internet and a vast loss of connectivity. AFRINIC
is a REGISTRATION DATABASE and registration errors are just simple errors
which can be fixed unlike routing database errors.
I oppose this policy and strongly believe that it should not be
implemented.

Best,
Elvis
