Hi Cathie,
The M&A proposal is not on the table right now.
I've not updated it, because I knew there will be no sufficient time in the meeting to present it, and as you can see in the agenda, that's the case.
Anyway, I don't agree is too intrusive information. Just compare with other RIRs or what already AFRINIC is asking in those cases. In our text we ask for documentations that justify the M&A:
"Examples of such documentation include:
A copy of the legal document validating the transfer of assets.
A detailed inventory of all the assets used by the applicant for maintaining the resources in use.
A list of the applicant's customers using the resources."
As you can see it is clear that those are just examples. We leave up to the staff to define what is needed. Why? Because the experience shows that in different countries the documents may not be the same, so we can't "fix it" in advance.
(by the way, not sure why you mention RIPE here)
Regards,
Jordi

Dear all,
The current policy on M and A transfers stipulates that the need to
all the resources must be justified (in case of a merger), following
existing policies and procedures. This policy is, to my mind, very
intrusive since it requires all the information that RIPE is
requesting:
• Official legal documents issued by a national authority
supporting the change in business structure
• Other documents supporting the change (if available)
I therefore oppose this policy.
All best wishes,
Cathie
