Noah,

I see what you are talking about… It’s not that I don’t see what you are claiming. It’s that I believe you are 100% wrong in your accusations and you have yet to present any evidence whatsoever.

You have yet to provide any evidence to support your claim that I am conflicted.

You have yet to provide any evidence that our fellows are being paid to represent specific opinions.

You have yet to provide any evidence that Larus foundation provides any instructions to vote in a particular way or to advocate any particular position.

While I personally would not condone or participate in a fellowship program that did either of those things, I will say that it’s not technically against any law or policy to do so. In fact, it seems pretty clear that there are other organizations that are doing so yet are not the subject of such derision on this list.

You, Arnaud, and Marcus seem unwilling to consider the possibility that we are running a legitimate fellowship program intended to benefit the community. I’ve done my best to explain, clarify, and present in an open and transparent manner what we are actually doing.

You’re entitled to your opinion. While I respect your views, and your rights to them, I think in this case, they are beyond misguided and simply factually incorrect.

I have no interest in engaging in a public discussion of the finer points on this mater, however, as I have no real dog in that fight. I do not believe that Jordi’s proposal would increase transparency or significantly improve the quality of our fellowship program.
