RIPE has received a proposal that allows RIPE region LIRs to be able
to request a /22 from the last /8 every /18 months.

The same AFRINIC policy (Soft Landing) sets no no explicit limit on
the number of times an organization may request additional IPv4
address space from the last /8 (during the Exhaustion Period).
