As a former NomCom Chair, I can tell you that this is not the case. When I
sat on the Nominating Committee, the Board had zero input into
deliberations. The elections and Nominations processes are reported to the
Board, but the Board does not provide "oversight".

We can however, state how things actually work. It seems that you are
