Dear Dr Barry,

Thanks for your mail, let me state that it does NOT have to be a "legal
issue" before one would determine that either board or noncom failed in
performing it's role in the election process.
The election guideline set by nomcom was clear and I think it's normal to
understand why the process was delayed for 4 whole days! We need to know
why this happened so as to ensure it doesn't happen again. There was an
experience from noncom last year and once we identified the issue, the
community was able to suggest a solution that fixed it and election went
well.

So the fact that one is making enquiries about what happened should not in
anyway affect the ongoing election process which is currently in the
comments phase. (We are used to multitasking within this community ;-) )
