[AFRINIC-announce] AFRINIC-21 to be held in Mauritius

Dear Colleagues,

Further to our Call for Hosting for AFRINIC-21, our 21^st  Public Policy Meeting, we would like to announce that this meeting will be held in Mauritius from 22-28 November 2014.

While it was intended that AFRINIC-21 would take place in an African country that submitted a proposal to host the meeting, the decision to relocate this meeting to Mauritius was made in conjunction with the 
AFRINIC Board due to logistical and budgetary constraints.


We would like to thank all the countries that expressed interest in hosting AFRINIC-21. We will be happy to receive their proposals for the soon to come Call for hosting of AIS 15/AFRINIC 22 and AFRINIC 23. 
We are taking this opportunity to remind all interested applicants that the first meeting of every year takes place in May and the second one in November. 
The hosting requirements will include the Terms of References (ToR) for the Call for Proposals and Budget information. AFRINIC will soon announce the local host for AFRINIC-21.

Suite à notre appel à candidature pour accueillir AFRINIC - 21, notre
21ème réunion de politique publique, nous tenons à vous annoncer que
cette réunion se tiendra à l'Ile Maurice du 22-28 novembre 2014.


Alors qu'il était prévu qu'AFRINIC - 21 aurai lieu dans un pays africain
ayant soumis une proposition pour accueillir la réunion, la décision de
modifier le lieu de tenu de celle-ci à l'île Maurice a été faite en
collaboration avec le conseil d'administration d'AFRINIC en raison de
contraintes logistiques et budgétaires.

 

Nous tenons à remercier tous les pays qui ont exprimé leur intérêt à
accueillir la réunion AFRINIC - 21. Nous serons heureux de recevoir
leurs propositions pour le prochain appel à candidature de nos réunions
à venir, AIS 15/AFRINIC 22 et AFRINIC 23. Nous profitons de cette
occasion pour rappeler à tous les candidats intéressés que la première
réunion de chaque année a lieu en mai et la seconde en novembre. Le
document d'appel à candidature contient les Termes de Référence (ToR) et
les informations sur le budget.

 

AFRINIC annoncera bientôt l'hôte local pour AFRINIC - 21.
