Dear Colleagues,

 

The call for nominations for the 6th Network Information &
Infrastructure (NI&I) Service Award is now open for the following
categories: 

 

1. NI&I Award

 

2. NI&I Young Professional Award


The NI&I Service Award Ceremony will be held during the Africa Internet
Summit (AIS'14) in Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti.

 

If you know an individual or organisation you believe deserves to
receive an NI&I award please send us your nomination by filling the form
below by 10 April 2014:

About the NI&I Service Award

---------------------------------------

Initiated in 2009 under the instigation of Dr. Narku Nii Quaynor,
inspired by his own prestigious John Postel Award (the first African
recipient for his long run engagement in Internet service in Africa),
the Africa NI&I Service Award recognises people or organisations that
have significantly contributed to have the development of

Internetworking Services and Infrastructure in Africa and the Indian
Ocean by dedicating time, resource, and vision to its enhancement.

Initié en 2009 sous l'impulsion du Dr Narku Nii Quaynor et inspiré par
son propre prestigieux prix John Postel (le premier Africain à l'obtenir
pour son engagement permanent  au service de l'Internet en Afrique), le
Prix NI&I reconnaît les personnes ou les organisations qui ont
considérablement contribué au développement des services
d'interconnexion des réseaux et d'infrastructure Internet en Afrique et
l'océan Indien en consacrant du temps, des ressources ainsi qu'une
vision pour son amélioration.
