Dear colleagues,

AFRINIC has had its training programme recognised and certified by IPv6 Forum with IPv6 Certified (Gold) Course certification. Henceforth, participants to our trainings can now have additional assurance that they are attending training that is designed according to current international standards and best practices. We are working on implementing a testing platform to award participants who pass the test IPv6 Forum Certified Engineer status.

In addition, AFRINIC’s Training Manager and lead trainer, Mukom Akong Tamon is now an IPv6 Forum Certified (Gold) Trainer.

AFRINIC currently offers numerous trainings on IPv6 targeting network engineers, systems administrators and managers.

AFRINIC is also pleased to announce the launch of its training website learn.afrinic.net which is the go-to site for all information and resources related to AFRINIC training. From now on, we intend to use the website, as well as the tweeter handles @AFRINICTraining, to engage and interact with our community on training.

Regards,
