AFRINIC vient de conclure un atelier de quatre (4) jours de formation à
Kinshasa - REP. DEM. DU CONGO. L'atelier de formation s'est déroulé du 9
- 12 Octobre 2012 au Campus numérique Francophone de Kinshasa (espace
CDSURK).

Dirigée par Mukom AKONG et Brice ABBA, d'AfriNIC Ltd, l'atelier a été
suivi par 45 ingénieurs réseaux, administrateurs de systèmes et
gestionnaires informatiques issus des entreprises de téléphonie mobile
et fixe et d'Internet ainsi que le Regulateur des TIC et les universités.

Certains des faits saillants de l'atelier sont les suivants:

[+] La planification, la gestion des ressources Internet.

[+] Épuisement des adresses IPv4 et les bases d'IPv6.

[+] Concepts d'adressage en IPv6, planification d'adresses, routage et
techniques de transitions

[+] Les exercices pratiques sur bancs d'essais (configuration d'hôtes,
de routage et techniques de transition)


Nous tenons aussi à informer toute la communauté qu'à l'issu de set
atelier, les participants ont décidé de créer le NOG (Network Operator
Group) de la REP. DEM. DU CONGO: rdcNOG.


Nous tenons à exprimer notre gratitude à Nico Tshintu Bakajika et Davina
de ISPA-DRC ainsi que tout le comité de gestion de l'ISPA-DRC à Leon
Ntale de Microcom sans oublier Mirindi de CEDESURC pour avoir accueilli
cet atelier et aider á en faire un succès.

Dear colleagues,

AFRINIC just concluded a four (4) day training workshop in Kinshasa -
REP. DEM. DU CONGO. The training workshop ran from the 9 - 12 October
2012 at Campus numérique Francophone de Kinshasa (espace CDSURK).

Led by Mukom AKONG and Brice ABBA from AFRINIC Ltd, the workshop was
attended by 45 network engineers, systems administrators and IT Managers
drawn from the telecommunications and Internet service organisations as
well as ICT Regulator and universities.

Some of the highlights of the workshop are as follows:

[+] Planning for, requesting and managing IP number resources.

[+] IPv4 address exhaustion and IPv6 foundations.

[+] IPv6 concepts from addressing, address planning, routing and
transition techniques

[+] Hands-on lab exercises (host configuration, routing and transition
techniques)


We also wish to inform the entire community that at the end of this
workshop participants decided to create the NOG (Network Operator Group)
DEM. REP. OF CONGO: rdcNOG.

We wish to extend our appreciation to Nico Tshintu Bakajika and Davina
from ISPA-DRC and also to all the ISPA-DRC's team, to Leon Ntale from
Microcom and Mirindi from CEDESURC for hosting this workshop and making
it a success.
