Mailman3 does have a digests rule which would not allow replies to a
full digest:

This may be unfriendly to participation if the current archiver
Pipermail is used as deconstructing the digest to reply to the correct
thread is not easy on every mail client.

Using hyperkitty:

as a mail archiver would allow for people to correctly format replies by
clicking on the reply button in the web interface, see for example:
