Hi AK,
As you probably saw already, the authors were discussing the withdrawal of both policies in order to submit ASAP an integrated version.
So, in view of that, could you clarify what do you think I’ve “responds to an issue in an inappropriate manner”, so I can make sure to address it?
And by the way, if you believe that I’m involved in any kind of corruption, as you seem to indicate in your email, please let me know the details, because I can ensure you, from the bottom of my heart, that I’ve not been aware of doing anything like that.
Tks in advance.
Regards,
Jordi

Dear PDWG,
It is unfortunate that nothing is learnt despite everything going on at the moment in AFRINIC. This was a policy that objections were raised, and uptill today my last email about objections was not even responded to, yet am reading consensus. It is unfortunate you have a report saying addressed by the author. What does that mean? So if the author responds to an issue in an inappropriate manner, does that mean the issue has been solved? Can you tell me how this problem was addressed? . Were the parts where objections were raised removed from the proposal or were they amended? You cannot just tell me that a serious concern has been resolved without making amendments. This is clearly a case of pushing policies down the stomach of the working group by all means by a certain group of people. This is the same type of corruption spearheaded by some people on the last board that is currently destroying AFRINIC. These policies never reach consensnes and this is just an attempt that would not stand the test of time.
I would not waste my time on this.

Dear PDWG,
The discussions in the RPD mailing list during the Last Call period have been considered. Given that the concerns raised by the PDWG having been addressed, the Co-chairs uphold the consensus status that was reported for the policy proposal on the Update of PDP AFPUB-2021-GEN-002-DRAFT03 after the last AFRINIC-35 Public Policy Meeting.
As the PDWG Co-Chairs, we have sent a report to the Board for ratification.
Kind Regards
Vincent Ngundi & Darwin da Costa
