Hi Ish,
Thanks for both your contribution & those of Jordi
+ Mike. Hi brothers :-)
...trying to summarize/reorganize, but not only ;-)
1| we actually know the various sources [1,2,3]
where to find the information related to individual
active participation within the PDWG. But it should
not be the responsibility of the PDWG to dig down
those sources on the first hand...but it's ok to double-check...if need
be.
2| the PLT (Policy Liaison Team) must, by an
automated mean, provide URIs (from RPD/AC/RC
& PPM records), and small stats [4], showing the
activity (active participation) of each nominee;
within the PDWG, during the last two years.
3| it should be clearly stated to nominees that
PDP experience is required [5];
4| allow the community to properly evaluate
nominees [5];
5| the PDWG should find more ways to avoid eager
new participants aiming for a leadership position
before they have been actively involved through
the PDP.
6| each nominee should write its summary with
relevant information, in trying to satisfy the
selection criteria. That summary should contain, usefull references
regarding what it says about the nominee; for those who may want to know
more
about a given nominee [5].
7| a statement of support could add more relevant
information and references about the nominee.
8| quality of contribution is better than quantity;
but the PDWG needs more active participations :-)
9] it appears necessary to amend the actual selection criteria, but it is
important to consider
that (as noted by Jordi): those who apply for a
given position should make at least few extra
efforts to show/explain (with public available
references) why they think to be the best choice.
If only one nominee provides such relevant
information it's not its fault...we should actually
work with what we have.

is at the following URI:

[3]: Video Recordings of previous PPMs need to
be classified into a meaningful playlist:

[4]: Stats formated at the convenience of the Staff,
including the number of: DPP co-authored, single emails to RPD, threads to
RPD, etc.
[5]: an amendment to the selection criteria
Excuses, if i missed some important contributions.
...and please just add it :-)
