that simply is not practical.

# what happens when someone goes out of business and simply does not
respond to contact? this happens a lot more than you might think.
there is no way that afrinic will be able to get the resource holders
“permission” to repeal the resources.
# what happens when there’s a legitimate repeal of resources
(sanctioned by a court if you will)

(i do agree with #3 though; that’s fairly common-sense)

i did not intend for you to provide a glib answer, because i believe
that there is a risk attached to this. (i have always said so). and i
truly believe that this is mitigated through process, and not in
(resource) policy, (or the lack thereof). my suggestion, although
seemingly light-hearted, was quite a serious one, and, if you remove
your rather blinkered view, i think you would see that.
