And who will take up the role of ownership of the said proposal?
Will the said Author as co-chair also spend time gathering inputs for their
own proposal?
And how will the said Author turned co-chair argue for their proposal?
Imho, members of the PDWG can choose to participate in the PDP, as WG
members, managers (co-chairs) , AC members etc but can't be both, so as to
avoid finding one self in a conflicting positions because its not ideal to
be both a judge and executioner.
If authors want to manage the WG, then they should withdraw their proposals
completely. If someone in the WG likes the idea behind that withdrawn
proposal, they can independently submit a new one for discussion.
