[rpd] Fwd: Eligibility Criteria for PDWG chairs

Hello Ṣeun,
I think I will support your view strongly just with a little twist.
At the point of nomination, a nominee can be an author or co-author.
However, at the point of confirmation and being on the slate, the author or
co-author needs to declare conflict of interest and either drop the author
or co-author hat. If eventually the author or co-author becomes a co-chair,
then he or she must recuse him or herself from same or similar policies
that he or she was part of previously.
This leads us to the a lacuna which might be created. One chair chair can
preside but can one chair unilaterally declare rough concensus?
