Hello Jordi,

I appreciate your zeal and effort on making the choices more clear to the community and in general.
Personally, I would go for the first and second Options which you pointed out earlier for various reasons. First, in accordance with the serious situation that we’ve found ourselves as community in, it would be the best option to adopt so as to ensure a successful transition or election of co-chairs.
Similarly, as clearly emphasized in the PDP and Bylaws, the election of the co-chairs are conducted by the PDWG and hence, following this normal procedure and halting everything regarding the PDP decisions for some weeks will do us more good than harm.
The position of the co-chairs is an essential one to the AFRINIC organization and the PDWG specifically. Therefore resolving this serious predicament is a major priority to the community and AFRINIC.

Elvis.

Thus, I believe we better slow down and take no rushed steps in order to make good decisions on which amendments are to be made to proposals for them to reach consensus and frankly speaking that is the only way to reduce the community burnout.

Note that this is a consensus base decision, not a voting, and the objections should be as less subjective as possible and looking for the good of the overall community, not personal or business interests.
