Thanks for raising the above point.

We keep telling our colleagues from other RIR regions, that while we value
their contribution to the community, they should avoid trying to be kings
(the know it all) here in our region and always imposing stuff on us, since
we know better the environment and the needs.

Those who are constantly trying to solve our challenges their ways are the
1st ones to say... “ I proposed the same policy in other regions and it
reached consensus in X and Y region”.
And later on, they say, this works in X or Y region but can’t work in
Africa. Can you imagine this level of deeming.

As for the elections process, I recall and the videos are available on how
people clap for you when you commented on how problematic, the proposed
online voting can be in Africa. That model seems to be the other
alternative you have on the table.
