[rpd] Monthly Call.

Tue Jun 25 22:35:13 UTC 2019

As author of several proposals, I think will prefer some time around mid-morning. I may not be available most of the time in the afternoons. However, some times I will be traveling and will not be possible also in some specific weeks.

However, because authors need to be present and there are several months ahead, I think it should be easy to coordinate, internally among co-chairs and authors to arrange the webinars each month for the following month, as the order in which they are presented across the months is not so relevant.

I will suggest that in each call we do two presentations, and the presentation time is only about 8-10 minutes, so as much time as possible is devoted to Q&A, suggestions from the community to improve the proposals, and so on.

Dear all,

Greeting to you from the the hot city of Marrakech.

In order to streamline our work especially durring the face to face meetings, we would like to introduce a monthly webinars where authors would be given the opportunity to present their proposals and others comment on the proposal.

This way, we feel would make our face to face meeting less surprising and get the job done on time.

We are envisaging that there would be up to 13 proposals durring the next face to face meeting in December.

We propose that we have a monthly 60mins online call support and recorded by staff. We would also like to suggest we propose two timings which we would be rotating from one monthly to other to accommodate our time differences.

Please can we have suggestions about this idea, including day and time.
