Chevalier,

While you and I agree and disagree on many things - I am sure we can agree that accusations such as the ones made below are baseless unless accompanied by evidentiary proof.

So please - I do not object to people stating facts - but if anyone wishes to make an accusation like this - they need to back it up with credible evidence of the claim - so can you substantiate what you said below?

Ha! - but that is exactly what happened in Dakar - and I was on the receiving end of it.

No Mr Elkins,

You work very hard to make this community to DISTRUST you a long long long time ago with the contempt you show to the community.

So now the shoe is on the other foot?

I've seen this time and time again - a group of OIF sponsored folk gathering around people such as Alain at the back of the meeting hall - chatting in whispers.

How is that different from any other group gathering around bottles of beer or whiskey to make strategy on how to push their policy? If you were not as condenscending of African people, maybe they will come to you instead.

Actually - I would suspect that very few people at an AfriNIC meeting pay for themselves personally to go there (or even contribute themselves) - that is, out of their own personal pocket vs the Company paying. I've done that for the past two meetings I attended, Nairobi and Dakar. Its not easy.

Congrat. I am happy that you are able to do that. But before those last two meeting, you have also attended more than 10? 20? other meeting based on sponsorship. Actually I think no one should ever be elect to board if they have never pay with their own money to attend a meeting.

I agree with you about the walk-in people. AFRINIC must do something about it. That one reason why I don't like consensus based only on room attendance.

Dear Marcus,

Rumor...well evidence collected has it you are Benjiro.
I wonder how the community will react.
