Andrew,
 ...and as per the legal counsel at the Dakar meeting – any position into
which Sami entered – was only valid until the November meeting, and the
co-chair goes on, on record on the microphone to further state that Sami
was only appointed “Until the next PDP meeting”....

My opinion is that baring any of these circumstances, Sami was valid to
have Co-Chaired the Hammermet PDP meeting and all decisions taken are still
binding. We may then argue afterwards whether his tenure is still valid
(based on the minutes as earlier clarified) or expired (based on the video
recording).

Moving forward, since there was no other election since Dakar, I think it
is logical for Sami to continue till the next elections. This will provide
ample time for the community to resolve the myriad of issues surrounding
the policies considered in Tunisia.
