Subject: [rpd] Last Call - IPv6 Initial Allocation Update (AFPUB-2018-V6-003-DRAFT02)
Dear PDWG Members,
The policy proposal IPv6 Initial Allocation Update (AFPUB-2018-V6-003-DRAFT01 with modification) was adjudged to have reached rough consensus at the last face-to-face meeting held in Dakar, Senegal on May 9, 2018 during AfriNIC-28.
Proposed and accepted modification at the PPM was the removal of section 6.5.1.1.d which reads
"d. Announce the allocated block in the Internet inter-domain routing system, with the minimum possible level of disaggregation, within a period no longer than 12 months."
This is to announce a 2-week last call for comments period on the policy proposal via this rpd mailing list thread. In the absence of unresolved issues, the comment period shall close on June 18, 2018.
