Dear members of the Appeal Committee,
Thank you very much for the time and effort you have put into this activity
and for the report itself.
I would like to remind the community that according to section 4.9 of the
Appeal Committee's TOR, the Committee's ruling is final and we should all
find ways of living with it, regardless of our personal opinions.
That being said, I have one observation and query:
1. I feel that the wording of the conclusion of the report (XII) should
have been explicitly written in terms of section 4.8 of the Committee's
TOR. Specifically, I would have expected to see that the wording "upheld"
or "reversed" so that no ambiguity exists in interpretation of the
conclusion.
2. Maybe not addressed to the Committee, but I would also like to
understand what the next steps are for the policy in question following the
ruling of the Committee.
My expectation is that the policy resumes it's status before the decision
in question and the co-chairs will proceed to handle things, albeit in a
manner that doesn't contradict the Committee's ruling......??
Regards,
