If that is indeed what is meant, when someone openly says “if I have to 
misquote you, I shall” all comments from said person cannot be taken as fact 
as that person has agreed to altering the truth to suite their agenda, we 
have a big problem on our hands.

This is entirely unacceptable behaviour – threatening people who are 
contributing to this community and making unjustified ad-hominem attacks is 
a total violation of the code of conduct and if I recall, this is not the
