Thank you for raising this topic now instead of doing it during an 
election.  One of the issues is that there aren't any guidelines 
about conflict of interest.  It is better to have guidelines 
beforehand instead of changing the rules during an election.  Given 
the past debates about whether there is consensus about a proposal I 
suggest that the PDWG co-Chair does not participate in the decision 
about a proposal if he/she is going to be campaigning to be elected 
as director within a day or two.
