Hi Saul,

The video is streamed out at multiple resolutions, from 144p, all the way up to 1080p.

What resolution you get to see is auto-adjusted by your browser/player along with youtube. You’ll need to click the setting “gear” and select 480p or better.

The resolution you see is a product of the viewer’s bandwidth and browser set resolution.

But most browsers default to a lower resolution initially, so manual adjustment is needed.

Note that if anyone else is reading this and doesn’t have local connectivity that can well support 480p or 720p youtube streams, then it’s best to use the video to see the speaker only and download the slides separately. Slides are available to download from the agenda section of the web site, for each session.

We do also have low bandwidth audio only steams to listen to at http://streaming.afrinic.net/

Warm regards,
Daniel Shaw
