Dear Members,

The Board has a responsibility to approve the list of nominations, in
terms of section 12.14(i) of the AfriNIC bylaws.

The Board received the list of nominations from the NOMCOM on Monday
11 May 2015, and discussed on it at an emergency meeting, that same day.

The Board, same day, then requested the NOMCOM to provide detailed
information of the candidates, according to section 12.14(i) of the
bylaws.

The NOMCOM provided the information as requested by the Board on
Tuesday 12/05/2015. The Board convened a meeting on Wednesday
13/05/2015 to approve the list.

Staff were asked to delay publication of the slate until after the
Board had approved the nominations as stipulated in the bylaw.
