[AFRINIC-rpd] AfriNIC employs a convicted criminal as Head of IT

Have to agree with Sunday,
This almost seems like a personal vendetta to me.
I take on this is, the conviction you mention has zero material impact on his job function that I can see. If he had been convicted for serious violent crime, fraud or something else that actually had relevance to the work he does, I would understand a question, but I would assume such questions would be addressed directly to the ceo/board before being put on this list.
Make no mistake, I have no problem questioning AfriNIC management and board about relevant issues in public forums, infact, I'm pretty well known for doing so, however, such issues that are questioned should actually pertain to AfriNIC and its function, and the impact that the issue being questioned has on the community. In this case, I simply cannot see any impact on the community or the way that AfriNIC functions.
As I said, this sounds like a personal vendetta against a specific individual, or someone trying to cause crap for the sake of it. Either way, it's not appropriate for this forum (or any other that I can see!)
