You are right, there is a misunderstand --- to put it more precisely:
there are two misunderstandings :-) or one that is spinning another.

I didn't say, or suggest you wanted to convince the board. What I
meant was that the provisions in our PDP allow the board the
discretion to resolve the matter at hand. On this backdrop, I was
merely pointing out that offcourse if the board had to exercise this
discretion they would need a concrete reason to --- hence "convince."

Sorry I caused any confusion, I hope this clears things now.
