Dear Pierre,

(
Sorry for my previous unfinished email)

Thank you very much for the updates. Happy to see that our strategy
implementation is moving forward with concretes projects and actions. You
and your team have been doing great work so far and I wish the best for the
new year. I will continue supporting you as best as I can.

We talk about ways to improve number of ICANN Accredited Registrars in
Africa in our last DNS forum in South Africa. I suggested in my presentation
to see how we can design a special RAA for Africa which fits Africa Economic
and insurance environment. Can we explore more that suggestion and see how
we can gather African Economy and Insurance specialists to come out with a
draft Africa RAA. The idea of the fund is good but for me It is not a good
idea to bring financial support to African companies in order to help them
fulfil the “one size fits all” RAA

Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

Best regards,

Victor Ndonnang.

list

Dear African Members of the ICANN SO/AC,

(Francais ci-dessous)

My seasons' greetings for a most prosperous 2014 to all!

As we start a new year full of challenges (implementing the Africa strategy,
building strategic partnerships and also contributing to the Internet
Governance worldwide), I thought I should share the latest updates on our
Africa strategy.

In coming weeks, we will launch the internship program me for registries and
registrars; we have started preparations for the Domain name and Trade Marks
Event scheduled for end of April 2014; and we are firming up the project on
digital entrepreneurship for Africa. Our team of managers are rolling out
their engagement and outreach strategies and we will hear more from them
soon. Meanwhile, our flagship project on the DNSSEC Roadshow is on going.

I would like to count on each one of you so that the strategy materializes
every day and becomes a true enabler of the emerging African DNS market.

Warmest regards

Pierre

Mes meilleurs voeux du nouvel an!

africaine de l'ICANN; développement de partenariats autour de la stratégie ;

moment a l'autre.

Pierre
