Everyone can feel that there is an ambient suspicion about the Board failing to address this issue of minutes for over one year.

It has been suggested that this is to preserve Mr. Badru Ntege’s dignity. However, if I recall well, Badru himself requested the publishing of not even the minutes only, but the transcripts of that Board meeting in Mauritius.

Just to clarify and to probably suggest that this issue be taken up by a select and cross cutting community or member working group.

The longer it stays open it does not help the community. Redaction will cause suspicion. Which ever way it is done.

The board might feel that publishing will jeopardise there responsibilities as a board.

Either way I do not need to protected as I have nothing to hide which is why I did what I did in tunis as a last option.

It's time for some humility by all those responsible to sort this issue. I do not have to be involved in whatever dialogue but putting our heads in the sand and hoping it will go away might not be the best option.

Moreover, I think it would also be unfair for the Board to adopt redacted minutes of a meeting in which some then Board members participated in but are no longer in the Board, and some current Board members did not participate in.

Therefore, wouldn’t it be wise for the Board to release the (unredacted) minutes or even the transcripts in order to close this definitely so that we can move on? It has the power to do so.

it's all here on mailing list.
andrew sent message admitting guilt on some of his actions. badru
wrote saying he's written to andrew privately on the same.
