[Community-Discuss] ICANN and RIRs signed SLA for IANA numbering services post transition

Hello Honest,

There is a request to not spend the NTIA budget on transition and also a
few members of the house are pushing against the transition but I
understand it may not be a major thing to worry about(will leave it to Owen
to say if it's been more significant lately).

As to what we can do, there is really noting except to use every
opportunity to remind the USG that the stewardship transition was their
plan and the multistakeholder community has delivered on their part of the
task based on USG's plan. It will be in the interest of USG to keep to her
plan. The Africann/AFRALO community indicated this in their recent
statement:
