[AFRINIC-Announce] Announcement of 2026 AFRINIC Election Results: Governance Committee and PDWG Co-Chair

Dear AFRINIC Community,

AFRINIC is pleased to announce the results of the 2026 elections held during the AFRINIC-37 Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.

The following candidates have been elected:

Governance Committee

• Daniel K. Nanghaka
• Afaf El Maayati
• Dr. Maud Adjeley Ashong Elliot

Policy Development Working Group (PDWG) Co-Chair

• Haitham El-Nakhal was selected via consensus as the new PDWG Co-Chair. 

AFRINIC congratulates the successful candidates and wishes them every success in their respective roles. We look forward to their contributions in supporting AFRINIC's mission and serving the interests of the African Internet community.
