[AFRINIC-Announce] Results of the 2026 AFRINIC Community Election for the ASO Address Council

[AFRINIC Communication]

Dear AFRINIC Community,

AFRINIC is pleased to announce the results of the 2026 election for the two AFRINIC community-elected representatives to the Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC).

Following the conclusion of the election process, the following candidates have been elected:

Mr. Musa Stephen Honlue
Term of Office: 24 June 2026 – 31 December 2029

Mr. Nitin Kelawon Sookun
Term of Office: 24 June 2026 – 31 December 2028

We congratulate Mr. Honlue and Mr. Sookun on their election and wish them every success in their roles representing the AFRINIC community within the ASO Address Council.

AFRINIC also extends its sincere appreciation to all candidates who participated in the election.

The ASO Address Council plays an important role in overseeing the global Internet number resource policy development process, and we look forward to the contributions of the newly elected representatives in advancing the interests of the African Internet community.
