[AFRINIC-Announce] Call for Volunteers on the NRO NC and Governance Committee

Dear AFRINIC members and community,
 
The AFRINIC Board hereby calls for volunteers who wish to be considered for appointment to the following bodies:
 
NRO NC/ASO AC.  The purpose of the NRO NC / ASO AC is to review and develop recommendations on Internet Protocol (IP) address policy and to advise the ICANN Board.  For more information, see <https://afrinic.net/en/community/working-groups/nro-nc-aso-ac>.  One of the three AFRINIC representatives in the NRO NC is appointed by the AFRINIC Board, and the Board intends to appoint one community volunteer for a one-year term, from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.

Governance Committee.  The AFRINIC Governance Committee advises the AFRINIC Board, AFRINIC Membership and the community on matters of corporate governance.  For more information, see <https://afrinic.net/en/community/working-groups/governance-committee>.  Two of the five voting members of the Governance Committee are appointed by the Board, and one of those seats has a term that expires on 31 December 2019.  The Board intends to fill the seat by appointing a community volunteer for a two-year term from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021.
 
Volunteers are invited to send a brief biography, and their reasons for seeking appointment, to legal at afrinic.net, no later than 23:59 UTC on 20 December 2019.  Existing appointees are eligible to volunteer for re-appointment.

Le conseil d’AFRINIC lance un appel à volontaires souhaitant être nommés aux organes suivants:
 
NRO NC / ASO AC. L’AC NRO NC / ASO: a pour objectif d’examiner et de formuler des recommandations sur la politique d’adresse IP (Internet Protocol) et de conseiller le conseil d’administration de l’ICANN. Un des trois représentants AFRINIC au NRO NC est nommé par le conseil d’AFRINIC, qui compte nommer un bénévole de la communauté pour un mandat d’un an, du 1er janvier au 31 décembre 2020.

Comité de gouvernance. Le comité de gouvernance d'AFRINIC conseille le conseil d'administration d'AFRINIC, les membres d'AFRINIC et la communauté en matière de gouvernance d’entreprise.Pour plus d'informations, voir < <https://afrinic.net/en/community/working-groups/governance-committee>>. Deux des cinq membres votants du comité de gouvernance sont nommés par le conseil d’administration et l’un de ces sièges a un mandat expirant le 31 décembre 2019. Le conseil d’administration entend pourvoir ce siège en nommant un bénévole de la communauté pour un mandat de deux ans du 1er janvier 2020 au 31 décembre 2021.
 
Les volontaires sont invités à envoyer une brève biographie et les raisons de leur nomination à legal at afrinic.net, au plus tard à 23h59 UTC le 20 décembre 2019. Les personnes nommées à ce poste sont éligibles pour un nouveau mandat.
