Dear Katitza Rodriguez

thanks for your email. Collection and storage of personal Biometrics
information has elicited numerous debates here in Kenya.

I personally did the Advance Certificate in personal data privacy with
Diplo and the course  equipped me with more understanding of the topic. So
when the government announced the registration of biometrics card for all
individuals, I did not and haven't to date, although it was mandatory.

In this regards, am planing to hold stakeholder meetings to highlight the
issues and enlighten the public bacause there was no public participation
by citizens to collect their views as is required by the constitution
before such a national agenda is implemented.
