Objet : [IGFmaglist] BPF Local content - call for project examples

Dear All,

The IGF 2017 Best Practice Forum on Local Content is seeking examples of projects and initiatives stimulating the creation of relevant content and services available for the local Internet user.

Studies have shown the importance of locally relevant content and services as a driver for Internet uptake, and therefore as a potential driver for the growth and development of the local Internet ecosystem towards achieving the SDGs.

For its output document, the BPF is collecting examples of successful projects and initiatives that aim at
        (1)   Creating or making relevant content available for local Internet user;
        (2) Enabling local content developers and entrepreneurs to create online content .

Contribution can be submitted via the online form: https://goo.gl/forms/swORcnYZBhKerDlE3

The examples will be collected on a continuing basis and serve as input for the discussion of the BPF Local Content at the 2017 Internet Governance Forum in Geneva, 18 - 21 December 2017 and shared as part of the BPF Local Content Output.

Please share this invitation to you respective communities,

Kind Regards
