<div class="">The IGF 2017 Best Practice Forum on Local Content is seeking examples of projects and initiatives stimulating the creation of relevant content and services available for the local Internet user.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">

<div class="">Studies have shown the importance of locally relevant content and services as a driver for Internet uptake, and therefore as a potential driver for the growth and development of the local Internet ecosystem towards achieving the SDGs.</div>

<div class=""><b class="">For its output document, the BPF is collecting examples of successful projects and initiatives that aim at </b></div>
<div class=""><b class=""> (1) Creating or making relevant content available for local Internet user;</b></div>
<div class=""><b class=""> (2) Enabling local content developers and entrepreneurs to create online content .</b></div>
