SUMMARY

This week, Internet Governance is dominated by the Internet Governance Forum 2015 in  João Pessoa, Brazil where United Nations advocates for an open, reliable, secure, stable and inclusive internet and the ongoing ITU Word Radiocommunication Conference in Geneva with roadmap approval for developing a new generation of “5G” mobile networks and agreement reached on radio spectrum for global flight tracking. Also, data management issues raised, with Russia reportedly going to ask Twitter store Russian data inside the country and Microsoft offering European Union customers option to store data in Germany.
