[AfrICANN-discuss] Truth Or Consequences, but not New Mexico

Ah well,

It appears the ever so entertaining Ms Bekelelele was not
forthcoming, but others can read email headers too, so let's make it
easy.

If we look at the email shown at:

https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/africann/2012-July/005253.html

purporting to be from sophiabekele at yahoo.com

we see this Received: Header

Received: from nm30.access.bullet.mail.sp2.yahoo.com
(nm30.access.bullet.mail.sp2.yahoo.com [98.139.44.157]) by
mx.jnb.afrinic.net (8.14.4/8.14.4) with SMTP id q6R1FhhF018377 for
<africann at afrinic.net>; Fri, 27 Jul 2012 01:15:44 GMT (envelope-from
sophiabekele at yahoo.com)

and when we look at the one from today

https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/africann/2012-December/006692.html

purporting to be from lerato.ma at yahoo.com

we see

Received: from nm2.access.bullet.mail.sp2.yahoo.com
(nm2.access.bullet.mail.sp2.yahoo.com [98.139.44.129]) by
mx.jnb.afrinic.net (8.14.4/8.14.4) with ESMTP id qB2H3uX1005552 for
<africann at afrinic.net>; Sun, 2 Dec 2012 17:03:58 GMT (envelope-from
sophiabekele at yahoo.com)

Actually - every e-mail from "Lerato" since 13 Aug 2012 has the same
fingerprint, that is, they all have...

X-rocketymmf: sophiabekele

all 46 of them.

However the "envelope-from sophiabekele at yahoo.com" in the header has
only started since 29 Nov 2012.

Before that, the envelope-from was "lerato.ma at yahoo.com" (but the
messages still had the "X-rocketymmf: sophiabekele" header...)

So, Sophia, would you agree that the winner of the bid should
operate in a state of truth and transparency or not?

And if it was sockpuppetry and the actual originator resided in the
US, would that not expose that person to Federal charges?

And if that happened to be the case would that individual, if
involved in a bid according to the guidebook, not have to report
this to ICANN?
